Matt LeBlanc | Director of Private Fund Strategy

Matt is Director of Private Fund Strategy for Dakota. Before joining Dakota in March 2020, Matt was a senior manager research analyst and team lead with the investment advisor research team at PNC. He was responsible for the sourcing, selection and ongoing monitoring of alternative strategies on PNC’s investment platforms. In addition, he focused on providing investment advisor teams with insight into portfolio holdings, market developments and performance across the alternative investment ecosystem.

Before joining PNC in August 2015, Matt LeBlanc was a senior analyst at Context Asset Management, working across manager selection and product development functions. His other previous positions include work as an investment analyst at Context Capital Partners, a Telecommunication, Media and Technology (TMT) analyst at Betzwood Partners, an equity neutral hedge fund, and a media and entertainment equity research associate at Susquehanna International Group.

Matt is a graduate of Cornell University with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Economics and Management. He has also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation.
